Sentora Launches Aave V4 Curated Markets for RLUSD, PYUSD and OUSD

Aave V4’s first externally curated markets are live on Ethereum, separating Sentora’s operating control from the Aave DAO’s ownership and governance safeguards.

Sentora has launched the first externally curated markets on Aave V4, opening three Ethereum markets for borrowing RLUSD, PYUSD and OUSD. The 22 October announcement from Aave Labs says the markets are available through Aave Pro and run on the same V4 codebase as other Aave markets.

The launch is operational rather than a proposal, but it does not make the three stablecoins interchangeable across every market. The collateral and borrowable assets differ by market, and Sentora is responsible for their risk settings.

Three markets, two collateral profiles

The RLUSD Yield market allows RLUSD borrowing against USDe, PRIME, mWIN and PST. The OUSD Yield market uses the same four collateral assets for OUSD borrowing. A separate Bluechip market supports borrowing RLUSD, PYUSD or OUSD against kBTC.

Aave V4 separates deposited liquidity in a Hub from user-facing Spokes. Each Spoke can apply its own collateral rules, price feeds, interest-rate curves and liquidation settings while drawing from the Hub within defined limits. Sentora’s launch explanation says it operates the dedicated Ethereum Hub and the active borrowing markets, including their ongoing monitoring.

Sentora controls risk settings; Aave DAO retains ownership

The governance framework places collateral selection, risk parameters, interest-rate curves and oracles outside the normal mandate of the Aave DAO’s risk providers. Sentora receives operational roles, while the DAO retains smart-contract and administrative ownership through its governance executor.

Those roles are revocable. Risk-reducing changes can be applied immediately, but risk-increasing changes face a 48-hour onchain delay. New Hubs and new collateral markets require a two-week optimistic-governance process. The framework also says the Sentora Hub has no authorised credit lines to or from Aave DAO Hubs, limiting direct liquidity coupling.

What the launch does not establish

The announcements do not provide audited figures for deposits, borrowing, utilisation, liquidations or user adoption after launch. They also do not make Aave DAO the day-to-day curator of these markets. Borrowers remain exposed to collateral, oracle, liquidation, smart-contract and curator-configuration risks specific to the Sentora instance.

Sentora says its monitoring system supports the markets, while Aave Labs cites Sentora’s broader allocation and risk-model history. Those are provider claims rather than independent evidence of performance in these newly launched markets.

NetNapz assessment

The material change is that external curation on Aave V4 has moved from governance design to a live Ethereum instance. The governance split matters: the DAO keeps ownership and veto-style safeguards, but Sentora makes routine market choices within delegated limits.

Users should therefore assess each market’s collateral, oracle, caps and borrowing conditions rather than treating “Aave V4” as one uniform risk pool. The next useful evidence will be onchain utilisation, parameter changes, delayed governance actions and any incident or liquidation data. No AAVE token-price effect is established by the launch.

Verification limits

NetNapz checked Aave Labs’ launch announcement, Sentora’s technical overview and the Aave governance framework on 23 October. This pass did not inspect deployed bytecode or independently measure market balances. The article does not claim that every advertised integration or risk control has been independently audited.
