CRYPTO POLICY · UNITED STATES — Updated 14 September 2026 A major U.S. digital-asset bill is approaching a key Senate vote after negotiations moved beyond technical market structure and into political ethics. Associated Press reporting says President Donald Trump accepted much of a bipartisan proposal intended to restrict elected officials and their spouses from issuing digital assets and to strengthen enforcement options.
